Aurora City Council Meetings
The council approved the 2026 asphalt bid from Blevins Asphalt for street paving, including extending East High Street, with no additional costs. Also approved were a Community Partnership Funding Policy, an Airport Board appointment, recreation center advertising and birthday party packages, a lot split on E. Church Street, and two special events (Jesus Fest and Rocking A Saddle Club Rodeo). The consent agenda with May 26 meeting minutes and appropriations passed. Council also held a closed session regarding legal and personnel matters.
