CRA Board terminates executive director contract and appoints City Manager
The North Miami Beach Community Redevelopment Agency will vote on several grant approvals and a beautification project. The board will also terminate the current executive director contract and appoint the City Manager to the role. Additionally, the board will amend microgrant guidelines and discuss updates on local development projects.
- SIP grants up to $124,976 for Fulford United Methodist Church (1900 N.E. 164th St.) and $222,025 for Miami Sushi LLC (West Dixie Hwy.)
- $155,000 commercial corridor beautification project for N.E. 163rd Street between N.E. 12th and 15th Avenues
- $84,000 payment for parking lot rehabilitation at 1321 N.E. 162nd Street
- Amendment to microgrant program adding recovery and employment opportunity categories
- Termination of contract with Florida Strategic Partners, LLC and appointment of City Manager as Executive Director
