Public Services Committee

Community Root Tree Committee
The Danville Tree Committee will approve minutes from May, hear updates on a USDA grant, and discuss the Hyperion Tree Protection Program, including identification of the first 50 trees. They will also review grant awards (KVCB $200 each, Ameren $500+), plan fall planting of 70 trees at Garfield Park, and consider an endowment for long-term tree care.

City Council
The Danville City Council will consider several contracts and ordinances, including a five-year agreement with Ecolane USA for intelligent transportation software for Danville Mass Transit. They will also vote on amending the solar ordinance, purchasing property at 1236 Edgewood for infrastructure, and awarding contracts for a homelessness project and road improvements.
