Planning Board
The board unanimously denied Betty Burnsed's request to rezone 605 Ford Avenue from Single-Family Residential to Neighborhood Commercial, which would have allowed a short-term rental. Staff recommended denial citing spot zoning, and neighbors opposed due to traffic and noise concerns. The board also unanimously approved a special use permit for Omar Soto to operate an auto repair, transmission shop, and auto sales at 4029 14th Street, subject to conditions. Both recommendations will go to City Council.
