Environmental Committee
The Environmental Committee is reviewing the final year of the city's three-year sustainability plan, tracking goal completion and a pending FEMA flood insurance application. Staff presented a bicycle and pedestrian safety report identifying network gaps and crash risks on Kirchoff, Algonquin, and Euclid roads. Veteran's Committee

Capital Projects Committee

Committee of the Whole

City Council
The city council will consider ordinances and a resolution to approve a 10-year lease with Lakeshore Recycling Services (LRS) for the transfer station and a residential solid waste collection contract. Key terms include a $1,000,000 lump-sum payment, annual rent of $150,000, and $950,000 for city refuse trucks. Other items include deferring the municipal push tax, updating employee compensation, and increasing ambulance service fees.

Planning and Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission will discuss a text amendment to allow accessory dwelling units (ADUs) as a special use in single-family residential districts. Foreign Fire Insurance Board
The Rolling Meadows Foreign Fire Insurance Board will discuss and vote on a list of old and new business items, primarily involving purchases of equipment and supplies for the fire station.
