Committee for a Better Environment

College Park Seniors Committee

Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee
The Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee will hear updates on proposed bike rack locations in Lakeland and bike lane plans for The Mark development. They will also discuss the status of the city's bike rack project and communication with College Park Woods regarding the St. Andrews project. A workshop on Route 1 Phase 2/3 is scheduled for June 24.

Tree & Landscape Board
The Tree & Landscape Board will meet virtually to consider approving May meeting minutes, hear public works reports, discuss the Great Trees of College Park Initiative, and begin a review of the city's tree ordinance as part of its annual goals. The board will also plan upcoming education events including a trolley trail day recap, vine removal with Chesapeake Action Network, and outreach for College Park Day and Good Neighbor Day, and discuss an in-person meeting in September.
