Planning Commission
The Planning Commission will discuss a proposed site plan amendment to convert the former Yaklin Tire and Service Shop at 220 Grapevine Turn into a Kelsey-Seybold medical office clinic. They will also review a replat of lots at 104 and 106 Stanford Road and discuss parking variances to reassess the zoning ordinance. An update on several approved projects, including Staybridge Suites and the SPCA addition, will be provided.

Parks & Recreation

Development Corporation
The board will hold a public hearing on proposed projects funded by the half-cent sales tax for FY 25-26 and FY 26-27, totaling $1.96 million, including park improvements, HVAC repairs, and recreation center renovations. They will also consider amending the FY 25-26 CIP budget to reallocate up to $200,000 for emergency HVAC repairs at the Recreation Center and Civic Center. Museum Board
The Museum Board will meet to review the proposed budget for the 2026-2027 fiscal year. Once reviewed, the budget will be submitted to the City Council for final approval. The board will also receive updates regarding the Lake Jackson Historical Museum.
