City Council
The Malibu City Council will vote on sending a letter to Governor Newsom regarding safety improvements on Pacific Coast Highway and telecommunications. Harry Barovsky Memorial Youth Commission

Public Works Commission

They will also review the Capital Improvement Program projects, including PCH wastewater, roundabouts, and street repairs. Additionally, the Commission will recommend assignments for fiscal year 2026-27 to the City Council.

City Council
The Malibu City Council will review the proposed fiscal year 2026-27 budget, approve several professional services contracts, and address ongoing disaster recovery efforts. The council will also consider a proposed wireless equipment moratorium, update the city’s appropriations limit, and levy a special tax for the Carbon Beach utility undergrounding project. Additional items include extending local emergency declarations for Pacific Coast Highway conditions and the Palisades Fire, terminating the Franklin Fire emergency, and making commission appointments.

Mobilehome Park Rent Stabilization Commission

The commission will also approve minutes from the previous regular meeting and discuss summer recess scheduling.

Parks & Recreation Commission
The Parks and Recreation Commission will receive and file the 2025-26 annual report on youth sports organization registrations and facility usage at Malibu Bluffs and Trancas Canyon Parks. They will also discuss the format for receiving updates on recreation programs, events, and park maintenance projects. The meeting includes approval of March 17, 2026 minutes and public comment on non-agenda items.
