Joint Review Board
The Joint Review Board will meet to organize and review the draft Project Plan for Tax Incremental District No. 20, which would fund redevelopment of the old City Hall site into mixed-use commercial and residential space. The $2.96 million plan includes 60 housing units (50 workforce, 10 market-rate) and a restaurant. A public hearing on the district creation will follow at 3:30 PM.

Planning Commission

Common Council
The Common Council will discuss and potentially adopt the City of Marinette Bicycle and Pedestrian Master Plan 2026. The council will also vote on contracts including a professional services agreement with ROCK I LLC for an event and a line striping agreement with Marinette County. Several ordinances are up for consideration, including new police and fire fees, recreational burning rules, court fees, and a room tax commission amendment. Temporary alcohol licenses for the Logging & Heritage Festival and a parish picnic will be approved.

Zoning Board of Appeals

Common Council
The Marinette Common Council and County Board hold a joint meeting to discuss the future of the former UW-Marinette Campus. Updates are provided by cooperating agencies on the campus, fieldhouse, and library. A round-table discussion covers Runnoe Park, the fieldhouse/pool, and potential relocation of Stephenson Public Library to the campus library. No action will be taken.

Board of Public Works

Water Utility & Wastewater Commission
The Marinette Water & Wastewater Utilities Commissions will jointly discuss and possibly take action on a revised Sewer Lateral Cleaning Policy. They will also review a quote to clean the Pierce Water Tower, the annual CMAR report, and budget. Operational updates include water loss, jet vac procurement, and fan replacement.

The Public Safety and Code Enforcement Committee will review monthly activity reports from the Police, Fire, Building Inspector, and Animal Control departments for May 2026. These discussions may lead to ordinance changes.

Parks & Recreation Committee
The Parks and Recreation Committee will hear reports from staff on parks maintenance, recreation programs, and marketing. The committee will also approve minutes from April and discuss items for the July agenda.
