Town Council

The Town Council will consider adopting ordinances for NCDOT speed limit reductions and a resolution for a Water Resources Development Grant. The body will also address vacancies on the Planning Board and Board of Adjustment and update the municipal pay plan.

Town Council

The Town Council will hold a public hearing and vote on the FY 2026-2027 budget ordinance totaling $7.62 million. They will also discuss implementation of the Unified Development Ordinance (UDO). The budget includes no tax rate increase, with the rate remaining at $0.17 per $100 valuation.
