Architectural Review Board (ARB)
The Architectural Review Board will review eight residential projects including driveway extensions, patio replacements, and a fence replacement. Several projects require variances from the Board of Zoning Appeals. The board will decide on a revised patio expansion for Heather & Chandler McCray that now meets setback and greenspace requirements but requires a wastewater easement approval.

- Mindy & Meyer Sosland: driveway extension; design guideline violation (width >30 ft at curb)
- David & Molly Powell: enclose screened porch and add patio; requires variance for side setback (4.9 ft)
- Richard & Mary Sloss: fence replacement; multiple variances needed (setback 30 ft, height 1 ft, location 18 ft)
- Heather & Chandler McCray: revised patio and landscape plan; now meets codes but needs Johnson County Wastewater approval
Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA)
The Mission Hills Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public meeting to decide on six variance requests for residential properties, including a continued application for decorative walls and sport court, and new requests for patios, a garage wing, a detached garage, and a fence. The board will also approve minutes from the previous meeting.
- Jeremy & Callie Bennett: continued variance for decorative walls, patio (13.1 ft), and sport court (3.75 ft) at 2411 W 70th Terrace.
- Ronald Palmen: 19-ft side variance for new replacement patio at 2001 W 61st Ter.
- Brett & Angela Sperry: 3.9-ft and 0.3-ft variances for new garage wing at 6452 Overbrook Rd.
- Andrew & Emily Greene: 13-ft and 3-ft variances for new detached garage at 6731 Rainbow Ave.
- Richard & Mary Sloss: 19-ft and 1-ft variances for new replacement fence at 6646 Wenonga Ter.
