Okmulgee Municipal Authority
The Okmulgee Municipal Authority will consider adopting its FY2026-2027 budget and approving several infrastructure payments. Key items include a $610,482 payment for a 24-inch water line installation at the water treatment plant, a $82,350 payment for airport runway lighting engineering, and change orders for wastewater treatment plant engineering. Also considers budget amendments for these payments. Monthly reports from public works, airport, and water/wastewater will be presented.

- Approve Change Order No. 1 with Holloway, Updike, and Bellen for engineering at Waste Water Treatment Plant (Flow Equalization Basin)
- Approve Change Order No. 1 with Hopkins Excavation for additional work at Water Treatment Plant (excavation of two 28" pipes)
City Council
The City Council will vote on the upcoming fiscal year budget for the city and several associated authorities. The body is also considering several real estate sales, a dispatch services contract, and lake access permits.
- Adoption of FY 2026-2027 Budget for the City and Trust Authorities
- Dispatch services contract with Okmulgee County Board of Commissioners for $16,000 per month
- Sale of surplus property at 533 North Okmulgee for $7,005
- Sale of surplus properties including 1225 North Alabama and 930 North Collins for $1,973
- Declaration of surplus property for 405 East Seneca and 803 North Muskogee
Okmulgee Municipal Authority
The Authority is considering a resolution to apply for financial assistance from the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. The funds would support construction and improvements to the local wastewater system.
- Clean Water SRF Loan application up to $4,000,000.00
- Issuance of a promissory note not to exceed $4,000,000.00
- Pledge of 2.0% sales tax revenues as security
- Proposed fixed interest rate not to exceed 4.5% per annum
City Council
The City Council is meeting in special session to consider a resolution authorizing a $4 million promissory note to the Oklahoma Water Resources Board. The resolution also ratifies lease and sales tax agreements related to water, sewer, solid waste, and airport systems.
