Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission will hold a public hearing and consider a zoning change from Agricultural/SF1 to Planned Development on 132 acres along FM 2453. City Council
The council will hold a public hearing and vote on levying special assessments and issuing up to $14.7 million in bonds for the Waterscape Annex Public Improvement District. Other business includes purchasing a small land tract (or initiating condemnation), approving development plats for Crunch Fitness and two subdivisions, and banning solicitation in highway work zones.

Main Street Advisory Board
The Royse City Main Street Advisory Board will hold a special called meeting on June 17, 2026. Items include approval of previous minutes, a discussion of the May 9th Main Street Car Show, and actions on upcoming events and projects. Committee and manager reports will also be given.

City Council
The council approved a resolution stating the city does not consent to its corporate limits being included in the proposed Hunt County Emergency Services District No. 1, but consents to certain portions of the extraterritorial jurisdiction. The consent agenda was approved, including contracts and a performance agreement. No action was taken on a development plat for Children's Lighthouse or on the potential annexation of I-30 Equipment Sales property.
