Town Council

Planning Board
The Planning Board will review a final subdivision plat for Jack's Crossing Phase 1 (34 lots) and a rezoning request for two parcels on Easy St from Agricultural-Residential to Medium-Density Residential. They will also approve the previous meeting's minutes.

Town Council
The La Grange Town Council will hear a presentation on a Strategic Economic Development Plan by the NC Department of Commerce and consider its adoption. They will also vote on a CDBG-NR grant administration contract, approve preliminary plats for Jack's Crossing Subdivision Phase 1 and 2, and award a grass cutting contract. A public comment period is scheduled before the new business items.

The Town Council formally adopted the La Grange Strategic Economic Development Plan after a presentation by the NC Department of Commerce. Planning Board
The La Grange Planning Board will review preliminary subdivision plans for Jack's Crossing Phase 1 (34 lots) and Phase 2 (57 lots), including new roads. They will also approve minutes from the January 2026 meeting.

Town Council
The La Grange Town Council will vote on a resolution to withdraw from the Eastern Carolina Council regional organization. They will also consider a grant agreement for a CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Program (Grant No. 24-C-4211), review proposals for grass cutting and grounds maintenance, and discuss a demolition strategy for the Change 4 La Grange building at 104 S. Caswell Street / 101 & 103 W. Railroad Street. A workshop meeting date will be set.

The council voted unanimously to approve the agenda as submitted. No other substantive decisions were made; the meeting consisted of public comments on a proposed cultural festival donation, a food truck ordinance violation, utility fairness concerns, requests for speed bumps on Robina Drive, and a complaint about a rooster and trailer park conditions.
