Council to consider strategic economic development plan and subdivision approvals

The La Grange Town Council will hear a presentation on a Strategic Economic Development Plan by the NC Department of Commerce and consider its adoption. They will also vote on a CDBG-NR grant administration contract, approve preliminary plats for Jack's Crossing Subdivision Phase 1 and 2, and award a grass cutting contract. Council to decide on withdrawing from Eastern Carolina Council

The La Grange Town Council will vote on a resolution to withdraw from the Eastern Carolina Council regional organization. They will also consider a grant agreement for a CDBG Neighborhood Revitalization Program (Grant No. 24-C-4211), review proposals for grass cutting and grounds maintenance, and discuss a demolition strategy for the Change 4 La Grange building at 104 S. Caswell Street / 101 & 103 W. Railroad Street. A workshop meeting date will be set.
