Dayton City Commission approves zoning code amendment, $1M air service grant

At its June 24 meeting, the Dayton City Commission voted unanimously to amend the zoning code and adopted a $1 million air service grant. The commission also approved property resolutions for two road projects and reappointed members to the Board of Tax Review.

Zoning and airport grant approved

The commission passed the zoning code amendment on its second reading by a vote of 4-0. A separate resolution accepting a $1 million air service grant was also adopted 4-0.

Road property appropriations adopted

The commission adopted two resolutions to acquire property for road improvements. A resolution for the Smithville Road project and a resolution for the Salem Avenue project each passed 4-0.
