The proposed parking lot expansion would add drive aisles, fencing, gates, and a sidewalk, and would encroach into the root zone of one protected oak tree. The committee also discussed citywide sign color consistency, slope development standards to protect hillside views from major arterials, and regulations for decks, walls, and retaining walls on sloped residential lots. The July 1 Land Use Committee meeting was later cancelled.
