Planning & Zoning Commission

Town Council
The council will vote on Ordinance O-26-12 to adopt the Utility Fund budget for FY 2026‑27, setting water and sewer rates, and on Ordinance O-26-13 to adopt the Water Park Fund budget for the same period. They will consider a motion authorizing the mayor to execute a $185,000 purchase order for the Studio Fitness Court project. Ethics Commission
The Chesapeake Beach Ethics Commission will hold a routine meeting to approve minutes, review and approve delinquent disclosures, and discuss a request by Council Vice President Shuls to provide formal acknowledgement of public disclosures. The Commission will also take action on identifying town officials who should be subject to public disclosure requirements and schedule the next meeting. No major policy decisions or public hearings are on the agenda.

Town Council
At this informational work session, the Town Council will discuss updates on the Fitness Court project, including a $185,000 purchase order to be signed at a future meeting, as well as Planning and Zoning recommendations on accessory dwelling units (ADUs), utility fund and waterpark budgets, and a municipal compensation study. No formal decisions are made at this session.

Town Council
The council will vote on adopting the General Fund, Mitigation Fund, and Water Reclamation Treatment Plant Fund budgets for July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027, which include setting municipal tax rates. It will also consider a resolution to fund an outdoor fitness court and a contract award for an aeration basin handrail modification. Planning & Zoning Commission

Town Council
The Town Council holds an informational work session to discuss the FY27 budgets for the Utility Fund and Water Park Fund. The Utility Fund budget includes a $600,000 state grant for the Harbor Road Well House project and a proposed new water/sewer rate schedule effective July 1, 2026. The Water Park Fund shows a need for $176,380 from the General Fund for its first operational season since closure. The council also discusses ordinances on fences and taxation, a right-of-way/easement issue, Kellam's Field concept plan, and rental subcommittee recommendations.
