We would rather show you the gaps than pretend they do not exist. This page lists every place we cover, where the records come from, and whether the feed is current.

Covering 7,535 US cities, counties and school districts across 45 official meeting platforms. 6,396 have posted a meeting so far this year. That leaves the rest quiet, seasonal, or on a portal whose feed we have not caught up with — which is the point of this page. Missing your town? Coverage against a real denominator

The denominator below is the US Census 2024 gazetteer, not the set of places MyTown has already discovered. “Covered” means we have matched the government to a source registration; it does not promise every meeting or a current feed. School districts are not included because this ledger does not yet contain a complete national NCES district denominator.

Where the records come from

Every place, by state

● a meeting dated on or after 2026-01-01 is on record · ○ nothing on record since then — the portal may be quiet or seasonal, it may have changed, or our own collection of it may have stopped; we cannot tell which from the data and do not guess · places with usable records link to a meeting page; empty registrations are shown without a link. This is a status of OUR record of each place, not of whether that government met.
