Thank you. I'd like to invite Chino Police Department explorers led by explorer Jonathan Torres, who's going to lead us in the pledge. So if you'd please stand. Thank you. Good evening, everyone. Please place your hand above your heart, please. Your hand. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Thank you. Thank you very much, Jonathan. Let's give him a hand. Okay. It's my honor this evening to celebrate the 10-year anniversary of one of Chino's most cherished spaces, our Ch ino Community Garden. Over the past decade, this space has grown into a place of connection, learning, and shared harvests. It's my pleasure this evening to honor the people and the plants that have made it all possible. I'd like to call up Rachel Phelps from Community Services, Parks and Recreation. She's our coordinator. Brittany Sarkal, our supervisor of Community Services, Parks and Recreation. And our Parks and Recreation specialist, Caitlin Chavez. And also, Xochihuerta, Betty Cielo, and Nathan Franco. Would you all please come up? It's Nathaniel, not Nathan. And we have a certificate of congratulations and recognition. The City Council wishes you a happy anniversary as you commemorate 10 years of dedication to the health and wellness of the Chino community. Thank you, Mayor, and thank you, members of the Council. So it's not only just a basic room and, you know, guests can come and sleep, but we focus as a whole, hospital day more warmth and welcoming. That's what our goal normally we follow. Business grown every year, pretty much, I would say, since opening December 6, 2023, right? Now we are at about one and a half year plus, but every year we see significant growth. that's something we can all be proud of. And we're just getting started in 2025. The city's processed business licenses increased by over 38%, meaning more Chino entrepreneurs are turning ideas and dreams into reality. From family owned shops to growing regional brands, Chino is creating opportunities for businesses of all sizes to succeed, and more local businesses also mean more choices. All right. Here at home. We're making sure our residents have everything they need right here, whether they want to live, shop, dine, play without ever having to leave their hometown. In JANUARY 2026, Congresswoman Norma Torres helped secure $2 million in federal funding for the upcoming Keno Entrepreneur and Innovation Center, better known as the Lab at Chino. This transformative project will provide aspiring entrepreneurs with the tools, resources, and mentorship they need. Economic development is about bringing businesses in and building opportunity from within the lab at Chino, our Entrepreneur and Innovation Center will change how business is done in Chino and helps shape the city's economic future for generations to come. And as our community grows, it's more important than ever to ensure it remains safe. Our Chino Police Department continues to set the gold standard for community policing, prioritizing public safety while strengthening the partnerships that make our cities strong. It's no secret why Chino is one of the safest cities in the region. Our police department is at the fore …

I'd like to introduce Dresden Rose Eagle Scout from troop 202. Thank you mayor. Thank you. MAY the audience please join me in the Pledge of Allegiance. Put your right hand over your heart. Ready? So my Eagle Scout project was in SEPTEMBER and I re striped and refurbished a parking lot for my troops church, and we reached the parking lot. We refilled a large crack in the parking lot, and we also took down a lot of vegetation in the parking lot. Thank you very much. Let's get a picture. Three, one, two and three. Perfect. Let's give him another hand. Yes. I do. Oh, yeah. Thank you sir. After high school. I would love to pursue a career in fire. So. Interesting that the fire chief asked for that. And if I could just make a comment. His older brother is a police officer in Ontario. Okay. …
