That's right. Okay. Finishing non-agenda items. >> The conspiracy went on. >> Yeah. It was? >> See how that works for you? I have a few topics I want to deal with later. I'm going to do research. I not commit one. One is the fact that paid $250,000 to an employee. Something is dysfunctional in that process, when they have a complaint regarding sexual harassment in the workplace, then they get fired. That is a concern. Somebody needs to get fired for whatever happened in that process. I also have -- I thought I would mention the lawsuit that I mentioned filed against Blue Lake with 1.35 million. The city had any kind of brain, they would go ahead and settle that. I'm happy to help negotiate that from pennies on the dollar of what it will cost the city. Sometimes you get people who are pigheaded. And they won't do the right thing. Property rights come especially with Aaron, are very important. I have been getting more and more calls of people who have had their children taken away from them. And -- illegally. There's a process. One person I talked to the other day -- he said come on my children are grown now. But, I could not enjoy my during their life, because of the process. And the process involves basically, one of the main things they do is -- you have an attorney who is suppos …

. Thank you. Good morning, Chair Wilson. There are no modifications this morning. All right. Great. No agenda. Okay. So just to let people know, we do have a closed session starting at 12, so at noon. That's good. And so now we're going to move on. Specialist III, Mike Hendricks is retiring after 21 years with the department. And whereas Mike started as an Eligibility Worker I in 2005 , promoting a year later to Eligibility Worker II, and the following year to Elig ibility Specialist III, and has served as the department's Disability Determination Service Division Liaison since 2008. And whereas during his tenure with DHHS, Mike's work has been focused on the CalFresh and Medical Eligibility Units, where he has assisted in training more than 400 new eligibility specialists, imparting his knowledge and stressing the importance of reviewing even the smallest details in every case. And whereas for 19 of his 21 years with the department, Mike has had the distinction as the guy who regularly brings donuts for his coworkers to enjoy, as well as being a former fan favorite on the DHHS Social Services Branch softball team, the Swamp Dogs. And I want to go see the Swamp Dogs incidentally. Whereas Mike's coworkers say they feel fortunate to have worked and learned from him and are happy to see him race off into the sunset. Now therefore, be it resolved that the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors hereby recognizes, honors, and expresses our gratitude for Mike Hendricks' years of dedic …

Cannabis microbusiness permit, coastal permits, and groundwater wells on consent calendar
The Zoning Administrator will consider three items on the consent calendar: a modification for groundwater monitoring wells at the Manila wastewater treatment plant, a coastal development permit and special permit for a new home and vegetation removal near Eureka, and a special permit for a cannabis microbusiness in Briceland. All items are recommended for approval with conditions. No separate public hearings are scheduled.
- Installation of four groundwater monitoring wells at Manila CSD wastewater treatment plant (APNs 400-011-077, 400-171-008)
- Coastal Development Permit for new single-family residence and attached garage, plus Special Permit for vegetation removal, Eureka area (APN 403-051-032)

Well, good morning. My name is John Ford. I'm going to be serving as the zoning administrator today. It is 10 o'clock straight up right now. I'm going to call the meeting of Thursday, June 18th to order. And do we have any agenda modifications? Seeing none, I'm going to move right into the consent calendar. The way the consent calendar works is I'm going to read off an item. If you'd like to talk about that, if you have questions, somehow raise your hand, flag me. I will remove it from the consent calendar and I will talk about it separately. For all of the items that remain on consent, I will take one action on all of those items together as part of one motion. So moving right into the consent calendar, the first item is the Manila CSD groundwater monitoring well. This is in the Manila area. It's a modification to a previously approved coastal development permit for the Manila Community Services District to allow monitoring wells. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this item? I am not seeing any. So the Manila CSD groundwater monitoring wells will remain on consent. The second item is the patent coastal development permit and special permit. This is in the Eureka area. It's to allow construction of a single family residence with an attached garage and the installation of an on-site wastewater treatment system. The action also involves major vegetation removal. Is there anybody who would like to discuss this item? If you would raise your hands. Somehow flag me. Not se …

Thank you. Are there any agenda modifications? Just no real modifications. I'd like to call out a slight typo in Emerald Dragonfly Far ms, a sentence is repeated in the staff report. I don't think that's a matter of a lot of people. I don't think that's a material error that needs to be corrected. Thank you. There's a lot of people. They're probably under public comment. I don't know. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. Well, we have excellent attendance tonight . So before we move into, um, our other agenda items, um, I want to pull the audience and see how many folks plan to make public comment tonight. Um, if you are in the room, please raise your hand. And if you were online or calling in also, please raise your hand. If you're calling in, hit star nine to raise your hand. Okay. Um, it looks like we have enough folks intending to comment that, um, I want to make sure everybody has time to be heard. So I'm going to, instead of three minutes tonight , limit public comment to two minutes per person per item. I think so. Yeah. We only have three hours, um, to get through everything and I want to make sure everybody has time to say what they want. Okay. So, um, um, in addition to that for folks who may not be familiar with, um, but the public process when we do do the hearing, um, each of you will have two minutes to address the commission. Um, ahead of time, please line up behind the podium so that we can move through folks pretty quickly. Um, and if you're online, please raise your …

So just a note that we will add those after Item G tonight. >>Thank you. And Chair, we do have an agenda modification. We're requesting to remove Item E3 from the consent agenda. All right, so it's 10 a.m. Good morning. My name is Rodney Andell, and I'll be serving as the zoning administrator today. It's April 16, 2026, and I'm going to call this meeting to order at 10 a.m. Laura, are there any changes to the agenda today? No, there are no changes. Okay. Hearing none, I'm going to go right into the consent calendar. We have three items on the consent calendar today . I will read each item off, and if no one would like to discuss an item, I will take action on the item as recommended by staff. If someone would like to discuss an item or has questions about an item, I will remove said item for discussion after the consent calendar. So the first item is the Mason Materials LLC Conditional Use Permit, Surface Mining Permit, and Reclamation Plan Ren ewal. This is in the Blue Lake area. It's a 15-year renewal of an existing Surface Mining and Reclamation Plan Permit and Conditional Use Permit for the Mason Quarry. Is there anyone that would like to discuss this item? If so , please raise your hand, and I'll pull it from the consent calendar for discussion. Seeing none, this item will remain on the consent calendar. The next item is the Espinoza Remodel and Addition Coastal Development Permit and Special Permit in the Trinidad area. This is a Coastal Development Permit for the Remodel and Addition of an existing approximately 3,024 square foot single family residence with a 576 square foot attached garage. Is there anyone that would like to discuss this item …
