The Humboldt County Planning Commission will hold public hearings on three conditional use permits: a cannabis cultivation operation in Whitethorn, a short-term rental in a tsunami hazard zone in Manila, and a firewood cutting business in Carlotta. They will also hold a workshop on a draft ordinance to allow low-impact camping on private rural lands, in line with Assembly Bill 518.
