Disability Awareness Commission
The Harrisburg Disability Awareness Commission will discuss unfinished business including an ADA overview report from the Harrisburg School District and logistics for the Action TrackChair event on June 8. The commission will also consider adding new members Hanna Berg and youth representative Kennady Wendling. Other agenda items include reading minutes, financial update, and public input.

Planning Commission
The Harrisburg Planning Commission will hold public hearings and take action on multiple zoning amendments and conditional use permits. The most notable item is a request to rezone a 2.22-acre parcel from Light Industrial to R-3 Multi-Family Residential to allow a 20-unit townhome development. The commission will also consider other rezone requests, a conditional use permit for auto sales and service, and several amendments to the city's zoning regulations.

It will discuss unfinished business such as upcoming Action TrackChairs, Lego, AAC Storytime events and review the Chamber Easter event. New business includes planning the South Dakota Special Olympics Polar Plunge on April 18 at Roosevelt High School and brainstorming ideas for a Libraries Transforming Communities grant event.

Library Board
The board will approve March 2026 minutes, hear a financial update, and review attendance and circulation statistics. Unfinished business includes a review of Chapter 6 of the Public Library Trustee Handbook. New business is a self-paced training course from the South Dakota State Library. The board will also note a mayoral proclamation for National Library Week.
