INTRODUCTORY ITEMS The City Council met on October 6, 2026 at approximately 5:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1C of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, Columbia, Missouri. Council Member Jacque Sample, Council Member Sharon Geuea Jones, Council Member Christina Hartman, Council Member Betsy Peters, Mayor Barbara Buffaloe, Council Member Valerie Carroll, and Council Member Vera Elwood were present. This item is open to the public: Motion for the City Council to go into a Closed Meeting to discuss the: - Hiring, firing, disciplining or promoting of particular employees by a public governmental body when personal information about the employee is discussed or recorded pursuant to Section 610.021(3) RSMo; and - Individually identifiable personnel records, performance ratings or records pertaining to employees or applicants for employment pursuant to Section 610.021(13) RSMo.
