Thank you. All right. Okay. Thank you. All right. Thank you. Paris Boulevard to the next major one okay I don't know how it stayed that way on the zoning because that whole corridor right there is residential schools or churches okay if you're talking about sensitive receptors and taking those into consideration putting a fueling station a change in word it's not a gas station it's a fueling station and adding up those numbers you come up with about 17,000 square feet of some kind of space 7,000 of it unknown okay are we going to go down the path of let them build it and then we all decide what can go into that 7,000 unoccupied space would we allow a liquor store to go in there in that commercial area would we allow an adult book store to go in there what would we allow in that 7,000 square foot building that has no designation of use yet if you go look at your map right now you want to go to Google Maps and look the intersection of Cactus and Indian and right now it's backed up all four corners red what do you think is going to happen when you put that on that corner so before you come back in July to bring this to the next two corners probably back to the agenda I would ask you behoove you beg you to go look at the documentation take a ride out there and look at that corner the lady did just say it backs up on the south side full of houses on the east side the school a charter school actually as a daycare so infants all right it is total residential residential and children [Excerpt truncated on this listing page; use the official record for the full text.]

Good evening and welcome to tonight's special presentations . Tonight we begin by recognizing Juneteenth, a day that carries both the weight of history and the strength of generations who continued forward. On June 19th, 19th, sorry, well technically a hundred years later it's kind of the same thing, that's when we got the Voting Rights Act, June 19th of 1865, United States troops arrived in Galveston, Texas and informed more than 250,000 enslaved African Americans that they were free. Although President Abraham Lincoln had declared their freedom more than two years earlier, many enslaved people in Texas did not learn of their freedom until that day. Juneteenth is a reminder that freedom was not simply declared, it had to be carried, protected and lived into by generations of people who endured, rebuilt and contributed deeply to this country. Here in Moreno Valley, we honor that legacy with honesty, dignity and respect. Tonight we are proud to recognize the community partners who have helped carry this recognition forward through their work in planning this Friday's Junete enth celebration. And at this time, I'd like to invite the members of our Jun eteenth committee up front, and I'm going to name them off as they're coming up. Rachel J. Taylor of Rachel J. Taylor LLC. James Harris, event host and community organizer, also our MC at if not all of the events, 99.9% of them. Dr. Hillard, who is also our library commissioner.
