Please be aware that Snowville Town is placing a restriction on lighting fireworks within the town limits of Snowville, Utah.
Fireworks will be allowed to be lit at the Snowville ball park, owned by the LDS Church, on July 4th, 2026, ONLY from 9:30 p.m. until midnight;
All discharging of fireworks must be supervised by a responsible person over the age of 21.
Discharging aerial fireworks is banned. Only ground fireworks are allowed.
Person(s) will be held responsible for any cost to suppress fires or damage caused by the discharge of fireworks.
Person(s) may be cited for violation of the Fireworks Resolution for 2017.
No open fires in town or county.

What happened?
Due to damage to the SNOWVILLE TOWN WATER main line during bridge repair work on 05/08/2026, the town water system may have been contaminated. Crews are currently working to repair the break and restore the system.
Water samples are being collected and will be sent to the Bear River Health Department for testing.
What is being done?
We are working as quickly as possible to repair the break and get water samples submitted to the lab for testing.
We will notify residents through the Town website and Facebook page as soon as the boil order is lifted and the water is confirmed safe to drink.
