City Council to vote on temporary moratorium on data center applications

The City Council will hold a public hearing and consider adopting an urgency ordinance (No. 819) to impose a temporary moratorium on processing data center land-use applications, allowing time to study additional regulations. The council also will adopt on second reading an ordinance (No. 818) amending the contract with the California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS).
