The Louisiana Crab Task Force will review financial reports, discuss issues with the Crab Professionalism Program and dock fees, and hear updates on blue crab certification audits and federal fisheries disaster funding at its January 20, 2026 meeting.

Laquita Meek stated that she spoke with a young lady who said that she could not get the dock to sign-
off on her completion for the crab professionalism program without paying $3,000.00. Laquita Meek
stated that there has also been 3 or 4 other participants who have had issues with completing the
