1. DISCUSSION OF FY 2026-2027 CITY OF MCALLEN BUDGET.
City Manager Isaac J. Tawil welcomed those in attendance and noted that, following the general
budget overview presented on Tuesday, several General Fund and Enterprise Fund departments
had been scheduled to provide budget presentations. Departments presenting included the Police
Department, Fire Department, Parks & Recreation Department, Public Works Department, Golf
Course, Convention Center, Performing Arts Facilities, Airport, and International Bridges.
