UPDATE: Feb. 5th meeting rescheduled for March 12, 2026:
Given this morning's notice by United Educators of San Francisco to conduct a strike across all schools on Monday, February 9th, we will be rescheduling tonight's Board of Education Ad Hoc Committee on Public Engagement meeting at Leola Havard. We will instead hold it on March 12th, 2026. We recognize and share the deep concern of our School District families at this time. Community members have expressed a desire to use this time to gather more information and/or make preparations for Monday.
The Board of Education remains committed to deepening our public engagement and looks forward to continuing to strengthen our public engagement practices with community input on Thursday, March 12th.
