The Cary Town Council will consider a resolution to call a public hearing on January 22, 2026 for the annexation and rezoning of the properties at 310 Barbee Road and 974 W. Ferrell Road, which would allow up to 230 detached dwellings. The Council will also discuss directing staff to prepare a report and begin the public hearing process for the proposed South Hills Municipal Service District. Additionally, staff will recommend using up to $125,000 from the General Fund to improve the Walnut Street Parking Deck gravel lot.
