The Village Board will consider several resolutions and one ordinance, including an amendment to the final planned unit development (PUD) for a freight transportation terminal on 35 acres at 13575, 13335 and 13337 Main Street. Public hearing on FY27 budget, annexation and rezoning for fire station
The Village Board will hold a first public hearing on the FY27 proposed operating budget and separate public hearings on an annexation agreement for three parcels at 15723, 15747, and 15783 West 127th Street for the Lemont Fire Protection District. Following the hearings, the board will consider ordinances to annex, rezone approximately 3.68 acres to Institutional (INT), and grant a special use for a Preliminary Planned Unit Development for Fire Station 1. The consent agenda includes the acquisition of real estate for the Kettering Subdivision, detention basin improvements, a portable radio purchase agreement, and commitments of local funds for grant applications.

Village Board to vote on fiber broadband installation agreement with Clearwave Fiber
The Lemont Village Board will vote on a master license agreement with Clearwave Fiber for fiber broadband installation, as well as professional services agreements for sewer monitoring and fiber construction. The board also considers an ordinance reducing the number of Class D-1 liquor licenses at Aster Gardens, and approval of borrowing from the IEPA loan program. The meeting includes public comment and may enter closed session for real estate, litigation, personnel, or collective bargaining.
