contractors will go right into Phase 2 so the park will not be open until
Phase 2 is completed.
Vice Chairperson Borden asked for an update on the Roger Scott Tennis
Center project. Interim Director, Byrd responded that the project is on
schedule. This week the contractors are laying the base gravel. Sidewalks
have been started. Anticipated completion will be in the November or
December timeframe and opening in January 2024.
