✓ Decided: DRC requires sign revisions at Kwik Serv, advances 133-acre annexation
The Development Review Committee required the applicant for the Kwik Serv gas station at 1637 Spring Street to revise plans for new canopy and building signs, removing internally illuminated cabinets and a non-illuminated metal price sign, and to redesign the monument sign with an opaque face, push-through letters, landscaping, and a base matching building colors. The committee also recommended that the city's proposed 133-acre annexation near the landfill proceed to the Planning Commission for review.
- Required Kwik Serv sign plan revisions: remove internally illuminated cabinet signs, remove non-illuminated metal price sign, redesign monument sign with opaque face and push-through letters (unanimous)
