The Spencer Board of Trustees met in regular session on August 12th, 2026, in the Community Center. The meeting was called to order by President Ruden at 6:00 p.m. with the following members present President Donna Ruden, Trustee: Ron Reif, Trustee: Kevin Mentele, Finance Officer: Kimberly Thrift, and Maintenance: John Ruden. Town members in attendance were Nathan Nash, Amanda Nash and son, Larry Barrett, David Kuhl, Chea Kuhl, Tony Morehead, Bryce Smart, Chuck Feiner, Sharon Reif and Kevin Thrift. A motion was made by Mentele to approve the agenda with the addition of adding reviewing a letter received from new landowners just north of town, seconded by Reif to approve with the addition and the motion carried. The minutes from the regular meeting held on July 13th, 2026, were read. A motion was made by Reif to approve the minutes as presented, seconded by Mentele and the motion carried. Tony Morehead was signed up for the Citizen’s Concerns Section of the meeting. The maintenance report was given. The Finance Officer’s report was presented. A motion was made by Mentele, seconded by Reif, and the motion carried to approve the report as presented. The bills were presented.
