Present for all or portions of the meeting were: Commissioners Kevin Stevens, Tom Appel, Larry Anderson, Donna Gravley, Wayne Maras; County Attorney Nick Anderson, County Coordinator Kelly Thongvivong, Auditor/Treasurer Carolyn Rempel, Becky Buchholz, Nathan Harder, Steve Schnieder, Alex Schultz and Joel Alvstad. Commissioner Stevens, 2025 Chair, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited. Stevens asked for nominations for 2026 Board Chair. Motion by Gravley, second by Anderson, unanimous vote to elect Commissioner Appel and to ask that all nominations cease and to cast a unanimous ballot for Appel as Board Chair for 2026. Presiding over the remainder of the meeting was Chair Tom Appel. Chairman Appel then asked for nominations for 2026 Board Vice-Chair. Motion by Stevens, second by Maras, unanimous vote to elect Commissioner Gravley and to ask that all nominations cease and to cast a unanimous ballot for Gravley as Vice-Chair for 2026. Motion by Anderson, second by Maras, unanimous vote to approve the agenda.
