engineering services related to the investigation of We ll 19. He said t he study evaluated
elevated nitrate and c hromium-6 levels and the feasibility of isolating aquifer z ones to
improve water quality. Werner said the consultant determined that the approach was not
practical because the affected zones were too extensive.
Werner explained that Well 19 has remained offline after nitrate levels increased to near
