General counsel now give instructions For those presenting tonight. General Council: These are true public servants serving the citizens, they are here tonight to decide on matters brought before them. We have five properties that are going to be heard tonight for various requests . If you plan on speaking tonight, please rise and raise your right hand to be sworn in. If you don't get sworn in, you can't speak. Unless you don't want to speak -- do you swear the testimony you give will be the whole truth and nothing but the truth ? Chair Carlton Crawl: Madam clerk, we have a correction to the minutes . The time is 9.04. We'll call this meeting to order. We could all stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. Those who are going to testify this morning, if you could please stand, raise your right hand, be sworn. Just very briefly, the call, the cases through the secretary, staff will present their case, then you will have an opportunity to ask any questions, present any evidence, testimony you wish this morning. The rules of procedure are pretty lax here, so anything you have to say or tell me, I will take into consideration. If you're here just to ask for additional time to come into compliance, we can get you out of here quicker. Please silence any cell phones if you have them. Otherwise, call the first case. Oh, I'm sorry. Got to approve the minutes from the last meeting, which I have reviewed and approved. We're going to start with number 15 on the agenda, page 8, case 251-103-701, owner Sergio Duran. Site address is 11650 Southwest 10th Street. Violations for new front door, metal gate installed without permits. Code officers, Joseph Libia. So the fence, the fence and the gate consists of two different materials. There's an aluminum around the frame, and then these, wood-like planks to represent, like to represent wood as a decorative feature. So if you have any questions, I'm here to answer them. >> I do. On the on your fence are you erecting now this is your the fence itself is going from the back of the property to the front of the property? >> No, the fence is in the in the front of the property. It …

>> To the Pembroke Pines workshop of June 3rd, 2026. This is board night, and I want to thank all of our advisory boards for being present. The clerk will note that I am here along with Commissioner Schwartz and Commissioner Rodriguez. Commissioner Good and Vice Mayor Hernandez are in route, and they will be here shortly. But we have 11 presentations today and we have an hour to do it. So if the presenters could keep their presentations, we have your full presentations. They're part of the record. We've read them all. But if you can keep your presentations at the podium to 5 minutes, that'll leave a couple of minutes here or there for the odd question that might come up. And I just want to start by saying thank you. Thank you very, very much for everything that you do. To support the city of Pembroke Pines. We know that you are volunteers. We want you to know that each of the boards is they meet regularly, and they also, are accompanied by an assistant city attorney and also a member of the city manager's management team. Everything that you tell them And everything that is said bleeds into the city through staff. And we also get the minutes of your meetings and we read them as well. So we really, really thank you because you help make Pembroke Pines a better place by providing the voice of residents in inserting that constantly into the, the work that we do here on behalf of the people of the city. >> Mayor, may I have a point of personal privilege? >> Yes, go right ahead. > …
