Chairwoman Jamison highlighted that if this development is allowed it would be taking the only Heavy Industrial zoned property and changing it to residential. This is the closest Heavy Industrial zoned property to the Cape. Discussion ensued about rezoning the property from Heavy Industrial to residential, and the taxation differences between residential and commercial and how it affects the Residents and City.
