Hey, I am going to call our special meaning to order. Can I please have the roll call? Council member Woods here. Council member Jones is absent. Council member Copeland. Council member Copeland. Yes. Vice Mayor Honeycutt here. Mayor Hansen. I'm here. If everybody could please stand with me for the pledge of allegiance. If the county accepts this request, the following steps would include preparation of an agreement with the county, a noticed hearing and approval by the Board of Supervisors, and a notice of approval by the Board of Supervisors. And approval by the California S …

And I just want to advocate to do it again next year, every year. I know it's a lot of work for the staff, but I think it's an important event to really promote our community and bring our community together. So thank you. Thank you, Sonya. Hi, I'm Dave Reima. I came about six months ago to talk about the spud field, softball field for the Lady Saints at St. Anthony. And our understanding was it was going to be on the docket tonight as part of, maybe lumped in with some other items as well. And our girls softball team is very excited. So they've come to just support the fact that what we've been working on over the last year might come to fruition. So that's why we're all here. And is it on the age …

I'm going to call the meeting back to order. Council Member Jones. Okay. I'm reconvening the meeting. If everybody could please stand with me for the Pledge of Allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all. Can I please have the closed session report? Yes, thank you, Mayor. There is no action to report this evening. Thank you. Is there any public business from the floor and items that are not listed on the agenda? If so, please come forward. Seeing none, Madam Clerk, can you please tell us what to expect on the agenda tonight ? Yes. Today's agenda includes four presentations, three city manager reports, and three items on our consent calendar. Okay. Thank you. I know you're all going to be very sad to know that you're not going to see the Mayor's Minute tonight, but my illness last week made us not record, so I am going to read what update would have been in the Mayor's Minute. Please join us this Saturday, May 2nd, at 9 a.m. for the Spring Mayor Cleanup to help keep Signal Hill clean and beautiful. We will meet everyone at Signal Hill Park, Youth Center Playground. Sign in begins at 9, followed by an orientation at 9, 10 a.m. Parking is limited, so walking, biking, or carpooling is encouraged. Water and light snacks will be provided. Supply such as trash bags, gloves, and a grabber will be available. Youth participation is encouraged. A …
