In attendance for the Zoning Board of Appeals were Chairman Tim Ragsdale, David Hunt, Marla Doss and Hayden Holcomb. Lisa Tressler was not in attendance. In attendance for Cherokee County staff were Paul Frickey, County Attorney, Thomas Trawick, Zoning Manager, Catherine Long, Planning Manager, Beau Smith, Code Compliance Inspector, and Kristen Roberts, Planning and Zoning Technician. Officers from the Cherokee County Marshal’s Office provided security. The meeting was called to order by Mr. Ragsdale at 6:00 p.m. He explained the format of the meeting. He reminded the audience to sil ence their cell phones and to keep the time limitations in mind when speaking. He explained that since Lisa Tressler was not in attendance, their decisions could end with a tie vote. He stated a tie vote would be considered a denial. In attendance for the Zoning Board of Appeals were Chairman Lisa Tressler , Marla Doss, Tim Ragsdale, Hayden Holcomb and David Hunt. In attendance for Cherokee County staff were Paul Frickey, County Attorney ; Margaret Stallings, Director of Planning and Zoning, Thomas Trawick, Zoning Manager , and Kristen Roberts , Planning and Zoning Technician. The meeting was called to order by Ms. Tressler at 6:00 p.m. She explained the format of the meeting. She reminded the audience to sil ence their cell phones and to keep the time limitations in mind when speaking. Ms. Tressler made a motion to add swearing in of David Hunt as the new member of the Zoning Board of Appeals to the agenda as the first Item . Seconded by Mr. Ragsdale. Motion passes 4-0. Ms. Tressler made a motion to hear Item 2.8 Case #26-01-008V Jack Staton for Suntex Marinas before Item 2.1 . Seconded by Mr. Ragsdale 4 -0. Motion passes 4-0. Mr. Trawick conducted the swearing-in ceremony for David Hunt. Ms. Tressler made a motion to elect Mr. Ragsdale for Chairman. Seconded by Ms. Doss. Motion passes 5-0.
