The meeting of the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors was held at 6 pm
Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in hybrid mode — in person and virtually via Zoom.
Supervisors Scott M. Badami, Kimberly J. Klauder, Robert A. Brunner, Joyce M. Keller
and Sara S. Selverian were present. Also in attendance were Township Manager Eric
Traub, Assistant Township Manager David J. Mrochko, Township Solicitor Gregory R.
Heleniak, Esq., along with along with Intern Hannah Penrose, Police Lieutenant Frank
Franco, Finance Director Christine M. Bauman (remote), IT Director Nicole M. Leininger
and Recording Secretary Karen Dolga. There were two members of the public in
attendance and two remote participants.
Chair Badami welcomed everyone and introduced his colleagues. He reminded
all that we will continue to use the closed-captioning service that is autogenerated by
Zoom. It is not 100% accurate and not the official minutes of the Board of Supervisors’
meetings. Written minutes will be approved at a subsequent public meeting of the
Board. Any questions regarding IT or the closed-captioning service should be directed

The regular meeting of the Whitpain Township Board of Supervisors was held at
6 pm Tuesday, June 16, 2026 in hybrid mode — in person and virtually via Zoom.
Supervisors Scott M. Badami, Kimberly J. Klauder, Joyce M. Keller and Sara S.
Selverian were present. Supervisor Robert A. Brunner was absent. Also in attendance
were Township Manager Eric Traub, Assistant Township Manager David J. Mrochko,
Township Solicitor Gregory R. Heleniak, Esq., Police Superintendent Kenneth Lawson,
Finance Director Christine M. Bauman, Township Engineer James E. Blanch, P.E., Fire
Marshal Michael A. Barnshaw, Human Resources Director Kathleen Yackin, Public
Works Director Thomas Farzetta, Code Enforcement Officer Travis J. DeCaro, Parks
and Recreation Director Michael J. Richino, IT Director Nicole M. Leininger and
Recording Secretary Karen Dolga. There were 60 members of the public in attendance
and nine remote participants.
Chair Badami welcomed everyone to the meeting and introduced his colleagues.

A meeting of the Environmental Advisory Council (EAC) was held on Wednesday,
June 10, 2026 at 5:30 pm at the Township Administration Building, 960 Wentz Road,
Blue Bell.
Chair Royer welcomed everyone to the meeting and took roll call. Attendees included
EAC members Ruth Chang, Zbigniew Bieniaszewski, Rachel Petyk and Erin Crump.
Township Supervisor Liaison Sara Selverian and Township Assistant Manager David
Mrochko were also in attendance as well as some guests.
Chair Royer called for a motion to approve the meeting minutes of May 13, 2026. A
motion was made by Mr. Bieniaszewski, duly seconded by Ms. Chang, to approve
the minutes and with no additional discussion, the minutes were approved as
presented.
Program and Focus Updates:
A.-Township Updates
Community Center Environmental Features — Mr. Bieniaszewski will provide Mr.
Mrochko with a document outlining dark sky compliant details that can be shared with
the Architect.
B.-Environmental Policy Research and Recommendations:
Deer Management - Chair Royer stated that a meeting is being scheduled with
Township representatives to discuss how to proceed.
Invasive Species Management —
Callary Pear Tree: Mr. Bieniaszewski & Mr. Mrochko confirmed that the Callary Pear
Tree removal project was a success that the signs were a big help for the residents to
understand what was going on. The next step is to put in some new walking trail paths.

A hybrid work session of the Whitpain Township Planning Commission was held on Tuesday, June
