If you have not silenced your cell phones, please do so at this time. Tonight's invocation will be given by Pastor Brenton Fess ler of the Orange Police Department Chaplain, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. Please stand. Thank you, Mr. Mayor. It's good to see members of our council and good to be with you this evening. Let us pray. Lord, as we come into this place, we also know that we do not have it all. In our minds to figure out what we need for this city, but we lean upon you and your wisdom. So we pray over this agenda, all the matters at hand, all that was discussed previously, and even what will be discussed tonight. May we honor you as we honor one another. May you give wisdom and discernment and a path forward for our city council members and those making decisions. Bless them. Bless our first responders. Bless our fire department. Be with our police department for all the needs upon our city. Thank you for the ways they so valiantly serve. And in this time, we need you. So would you be with us this evening and guide us. It is in your name we pray. Amen. Please join me in a promise of loyalty to our flag and to our country. I'm calling the regular city council meeting of July 28, 20 26 to order. If you have not silenced your cell phones, please do so at this time. Tonight's invocation will be given by Pastor Danny Kurame of Bridge Community Church, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor Pro Tem Dennis Bil odeau. Please stand. Would you join me in a word of prayer? God, in the busyness of our days and the things that are going on in our minds, we take time to acknowledge you. You describe yourself as the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, a great and mighty God, great in counsel and mighty in deed. And we thank you for your invitation to help us where we need it. And we ask you, God, that tonight's meeting would be led by your spirit. God, we pray according to your word where you tell us we can ask you for wisdom when we don't have it. We pray that you would lead and guide this assembly or that your wisdom would be present. We pray blessing over our city leaders. We thank you, God, that you've placed them in positions of influence for your purposes. God, we thank you tonight for all those in our community. Lord, we pray blessing over the homes of each and every member of the city of Orange. And God, we thank you for our first responders that care for this city. We pray blessing upon them, Lord, our firefighters as they risk their lives on a daily basis. God, we pray that you would bless and keep them and their families. And for our police officers, God, we pray that you would also go …

We pray for protection over our families. We pray that you'd watch over our police officers, our firefighters, first responders, and all those who faithfully serve our community each and every day. Unless authorized by law, public comments are limited to three minutes per speaker. Are there any? There are. Let me. I don't. There's nothing on the screen. Oh. Thank you. Shay Murphy. Hi. Come up to the podium. And this is on an off-agenda item, not an item that's on the current agenda. Thank you. I guess, yeah, this is my first. We live nearby Sycamore Avenue. And we had a curb right in front of our house, painted red. And it was just kind of an isolated spot. And we're not sure if it's like how it got approved. Because as I can tell, it's not really obstructing anything . …
