Orange City Council

The City Council will meet to consider an ordinance extending the temporary ban on opening or expanding massage businesses for over 22 months. The meeting also includes a proclamation for the United States Semiquincentennial and a closed session regarding existing litigation.

The Orange City Council adopted Urgency Ordinance No. 08-26-A, extending the interim moratorium on new and expanding massage establishments for an additional twenty‑two months and fifteen days while the city updates its Municipal and Zoning Codes. The motion was made by Councilmember Barrios, seconded by Councilmember Gutierrez, and passed with unanimous support from all seven members. No other substantive actions were taken during the meeting.
