Planning Commission to consider new historic preservation ordinance and Heritage Commission

The Orange Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a proposed ordinance that would replace the current Historic Districts chapter (17.17) with a new Historic Preservation and Cultural Resources chapter, and would replace the Design Review Committee with a new Heritage Commission. The commission will vote on a resolution recommending the City Council adopt the ordinance and will find the action exempt from CEQA.
