Monday, June 1, 2026, 7:00 pm
Mayor Zachary Houck called the meeting to Order at 7:00 pm and then read the following statement:
“Tn accordance with Section 5 of the Open Public Meetings Act, Chapter 231, P.L. 1975, notice of this
meeting was posted on the borough website and notice was transmitted to the Retrospect on May 21, 2026.
In addition, notice was posted on the bulletin board designed for that purpose, the front door of Borough Hall
and on the Borough website. Notices have remained continuously posted.
ROLL CALL
Mayor Houck asked the Clerk for roll call.
Under roll call, Council President Morgan, Councilmembers Philipps, Pagan, Harron, Demore and Whittle
were present as well as Borough Solicitor Howard Long, Borough Clerk Kelly Santosusso and Deputy ~
Borough Clerk Julie Yuhaze.

a. Will screw into the mortar, will not screw into the brick of the building. Will
repair mortar when lease expires.
b. HPC has no issues with the design of the blade sign, but blade sign projection
pending approval by the Zoning Officer.
c. Brad makes a motion to approve the application with understanding that all
the signage will be installed without damage to brick, by affixing through
mortar joints. George seconds. All in favor.
2. CS#26-5-2HP — 201 White Horse Pike — Haddon Savings Bank — B:23 L:10
a. Signage in rear, at the parking lot entrance. Replicating front main signage
above bench in back of building. No illumination to sign.
b. Brad makes a motion to approve as submitted, George seconds. All in favor.
3. CS#26-5-3HP — 528 Station Avenue — Smooth Investments, LLC — B:26 L:12 & 21
a. Eliminating drive-thru of existing bank. Will be replacing drive-thru with
parking (in rear), and outdoor dining on North side. Will be removing the curb
cut and apron. Replacing curb to match and will extend brick to match current
brick area of sidewalk.
