The meeting of the Kenner Naval Museum Commission was on Monday
Jan 12, 2026, 6 members were present.
The first order of business was a motion to re-elect Claude Todaro as
Chairman, Michael Zeringue as Vice Chairman and Michael Sigur as
Treasurer. The motion passed.
The next discussion about new exhibits for Kenner Veterans Park. We are
still trying to locate a helicopter and one or two smaller items.
Next was a discussion to move the Commission’s checking account from
Capital One Bank to Gulf Coast Bank and Trust. A motion was made
authorizing the Treasurer Michael Sigur to open an account at Gulf Coast
Bank and Trust, with Michael Sigur and Michael Zeringue as signers and
with the mailing address being 2201 Florida Ave. Kenner, LA 70062
Board members were reminded by M. Sigur that after discussion with the
State Board of Ethics, it was determined that if the Board does not take in
more than $10,000.00 annually, it would not be necessary for Board
members to complete the annual Financial Disclosure Form. He reported
that the Commission did not take in more than $10,000 in 2025.
