County Council to consider income tax rate change and bond issuance

The Tippecanoe County Council will hold its regular meeting on August 11, 2026, with first readings of an ordinance modifying local income tax rates and another authorizing taxable economic development revenue bonds. The Technical Transportation Committee met to review INDOT access permits and amend the FY 2026-2030 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP). The committee approved a funding reallocation for CityBus to purchase new buses instead of building sidewalks, as federal rules changed.
