1. CALL TO ORDER

Roll Call, Moment of Silence and Pledge of Allegiance
The Tuesday, July 28, 2026 Ashland City Council meeting was called to order by Mayor Matt Mac
Kenzie at 6:00 p.m.
PRESENT: Shawn Brede, Peter Levi, Paul Vig, Charlie Ortman (call-in), Nancy Sztyndor, Andrew
Goyke
ABSENT: Kevin Seefeldt (Excused)
ALSO PRESENT: Mayor Matthew MacKenzie, City Administrator Brant Kucera, Deputy Clerk
Chianne Schweitzer, City Attorney Tyler Wickman, Director of Public Works John Butler, Director of
Planning and Zoning Steven Wiley, Lieutenant Cory Chard, and other interested citizens.
The Mayor noted a quorum of the Common Council was present.
Charlie Ortman was present via telephone. Due to technical difficulties he was muted from 6:00pm
until 6:21pm. He voluntarily reconfirmed his voice votes at 6:21pm when he was able to rejoin the
meeting.
2. APPROVAL OF AGENDA
A motion by Sztyndor, seconded by Goyke to approve the agenda, passed 6-0 by voice vote.
