Township approves multiple professional service contracts for 2026
The Fairfield Township Mayor and Council met on Jan. 5, 2026 to certify the 2025 council election results and administer oaths to the newly elected council members. The body approved a series of professional service contracts for the township, including attorney, bond counsel, auditor, planner, GIS support and other consulting agreements for the 2026 fiscal year. A consent agenda was adopted covering newspaper designations, a cash‑management plan with multiple banks, the temporary budget, interest and penalty charges, and several appointments and purchase authorizations.
