Enclosed is a memorandum from Mr. Sorice in which the applicant, HT Hackney
Company, requests one variance for an existing structure at 875 Center Drive in the | —
Industrial District. If approved, the company plans to install a new security fence in the
front yard along Center Drive.
On June 10, 2026, the Board of Zoning Appeals recommended approval of the front
yard fence along Center Drive, denial of the front yard fence along South Brown
School Road, and denial of the proposed Barbed Wire elements in the front yard.
On June 15", 2026, the applicant withdrew its requests for the variances along South
Brown School Road and for barbed wire.

Vandalia residents free recycling of their Christmas trees. Residents can drop
