Buffalo school board to vote on $117K Alabama field trip for students
The Buffalo City School District Board of Education will consider approving multiple personnel changes across instructional, civil service, administrative, and exempt categories. The board will also vote on a $116,906 contract with Vagabond Tours for a student field trip to Alabama, a $51,726 contract for kitchen equipment at the School of Culinary Arts, and a $12,134 emergency heating repair at School 69. We honor and pay tribute to the Indigenous ancestors of the land we use. We acknowledge the historic, intergenerational traumas they have endured and offer hope and opportunities for healing and reconciliation as we go forward together.
One key Haudenosaunee principle is to live in peace and harmony with each other and the natural world. All life should be respected and cared for because what happens to one living thing affects all living things.
